I can select my game in the Mii channel (Captain Toad), but when I launch Smash Bros it freezes at smash loading screen and the loadiine server console is empty... it logs anything

Which game ? you got a compatibility list in the downloaded package.

If you mean other than SSBU, then no. That's the only game that can be exploited into using the SD card

It is confirmed that you can load games from any region using Loadiine, USA/Jap/Europ

I think you can use Uwizard for that, the place where u download the WUD will mention the key you need to decrypt it using Uwizard.
