You don't know what firmware is on your Switch. Besides, buy it used and try to go for the 000 cartridge. Then you should be good.

I can confirm that the recent Blazblue Cross Tag Battle can work on firmware 4.1 however you can't go online, nor download the free dlc that's currently available for a limited time.
