Hey all, I opened this Discord server a couple days ago. At first I published a discord invite link on my profile page, and it was kind of a bit of fun between about 8 people. Eventually, it has evolved and we have about 30 tempers joined now, and @Jackus and I have worked hard to make this the best place it could be. We were recently discussing whether to make a temp post on this, so here you go :3

#gaming - Talk about or set up games here

#user-logs - Just a log on who's joined and left
#bot-testing - A place where you can test the various bots on the server
#spam - Spam all you like here! Remember that all rules still apply.

How does joining the server work?

Due to recent spam attacks, which we have stopped now :3, we have included a lot of security.
This is how you can join:

1. PM me, a staff member of our server to get an invite link. If you wish to receive an invite link from a regular member in the group, they must first gain permission from us for you to receive that invite link.
2. When you join, you will be dumped into the #welcome chat. You will have to read #rules before you get verified.
3. PM me or a member of the staff of our server to verify that you are who you say you are and that you are in the #welcome chat.

Why do I need to get verified :c

As I said above, we got a lot of spam attacks a couple of days ago. We needed to up our security. We can't have anyone waltzing into our server and casually dropping a 10gb folder of porn.

Why should I join?

This is kind of a nice friendly private server, only available to those I know won't make this place cancer. Quite a few people said they've enjoyed it as it is as private as it is, and not as cancer as some of the other ones.

These mods were kinda selected by, whoever asked for it, got it, as long as they haven't received any warns yet. But these mods haven't failed to do good, and I trust them.

Spoiler: Rules

1. No posting or posting links to porn/hentai (instant ban).
2. No advertising. No links to or naming of roms/rom sites.
3. No posting invite links outside of PMs.
4. No spamming outside of the #spam chat.
5. All rules apply in the #spam chat.
6. Please keep the chats related to the chat they're in.
7. Contact staff before sharing invite links.
8. No arguing or questioning with admin decisions.
9. No spamming the music bot.
10. Breaking these rules will get you a warn or banned instantly.
11. If you disobey these rules, I will be forced to ban you

This chat is quite exclusive to those who know me or the people in it. I'd like to keep it as friendly as possible.

Which is why i lost interest in this server too
the other people started joining and we all started basically edge of forum in discord all the time here, which is as much as i love to fuck around a bit i can't handle that stuff all the time, i'm someone that needs to seriously talk to people about actual stuff be it other people life events or stuff like that, hell i even love a good conversation about a game or anime but the amount of shitposting is overbearing in both groups

My server is a discord channel for tempers. Not a GBATemp Discord Channel. Plus I've heard people say its pretty bad and cancerous. I haven't tried it myself, however.
