Status update!


Homebrew launching is mostly working. There are still issues to tackle, but... it's definitely getting there.

I got all the memory allocation troubles sorted out so ctrulib can startup properly. APT works, including return-to-home-menu and sleep mode (really nice, I expected APT to get in the way a lot more).

I worked around the FS registration issue by, uh, patching FS.


Now I guess I should try running a real homebrew from this!

I was able to run blargSNES 1.1.


But for whatever reason, I tried some other things and they all gave a blackscreen.



Edit- all of this seems to boil down to updating ctrulib. I made a half-assed blargSNES build with last ctrulib, and that works.

I can play it for free too, I pop the cartridge in one of my 4 compatible consoles. Then I can marvel at it's physical beauty.

That would need modifying ctrulib, but it's doable.
