Hacking latest IOS IOS70-64-v6912

Is it okay to update IOS. When i ran the NUS Downloader.exe, i saw a few IOS with newer version. For example IOS70-64-v6687.wad has the latest version IOS70-64-v6912.wad? Will this brick my wii?

Yes, this would fully brick your wii if you are on 4.2. v6912 is the stub, please DON'T install it!
