If i import some copies of JUMP! ultimate stars, translate them somehow and then sell them, would that be legal? Or would i need Nintendo's permission first?

if you did that without out permission Ninty will make a pencil dissapear into your face

So if i had the permission of nintendo to port&translate it, they'll allow me to sell it for them?

im not sure you could probly ask them if they answer theyll probly say if u translate we give 3% of overall profit from the sale of these games or somethin

So i would have to import them myself, and translate them myself for 3% of what they'll be sold for? a max of $50 per copy?

No, no. No no no no no no no.

There's a reason JUS won't ever see an English release. There are different companies which own the license to publish games with the characters that are in the game you would never get them to agree.

Also, I hope that was a rhetorical question cause, frankly, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life.

I can't import bacause belgium don't use paypal with bank connect

Well there are translations here already the guys who made it is practically 100% they would publish it before you do. But you need permission from the people who made the game no way they gona accept it unless its like in secrecy and for free.

I was talking about taking the JAPANESE game, and importing it. not remaking it. just text dump or something, then sell them or something.

... Okay, do you have any idea how licensing laws work, at all, seriously? Maybe you should complete secondary education before even thinking about this.

Then is it illegal to import it from japan? why or why not?

It's not illegal for you to import the bloody game. It's illegal for you to sell modified copies of it without the proper licenses, which is impossible to get as I previously mentioned. Do you realise how many laws you'll be breaking and how many companies will be lining up to sue your ass? Just drop the idea.
