@Mithrandir: No I can't fix that (long story short, progress bars use counters and they seem to be broken from the beginning). Anyway, there can't be many phrases untranslated when the counter marks 100% + (but thanks for reporting

@FAST6191:I've been reading the forum of the Spanish translation, and it seems they run into a few technical difficulties that prevented them from translating some things, including the tutorials, and they had to leave them in Japanese.
Are you sure you can put all translated text back in the game? It would be very useful to get a proof of concept (could be something as simple as replacing every text in the game to "chicken"), to see if there is something that can't be translated, and the translators don't waste time on it.

Wow, 3 days from last post. Looks like everyone was in need of some rest from the project (or at least from this thread).
Things are going pretty swimmingly as it seems, the only bottlenecks being the files chr_b_t.bin, chr_s_t.bin and piece.bin. As everyone reading the thread knows, last time I tried doing some evangelism I wasn't very successful, so I guess it's time for everyone to post their ideas where we could get some help in the form of more translators. We've been lucky this far that p1noypr1de was as kind as to offer to translate a big part of the text, but some parts seem to be too complicated/extensive for just one person.
All ideas welcome (including those already stated but maybe let unheard in the past).

Be pateint for the love of God. Everyone who is working on it is doing this out of their own free time, you shouldn't rush them.

How about quickly making a script to automatically BabelFish the rest of the translation and release a patch?

We could see if everything`s actually working as it`s supposed to and it would shut up all the impatient people (me among them).

Couldn`t GBATemp staff make a news post about this project, as clearly this thread is not receiving enough attention?
Hopefully that would score us some translators.

Since this is for Ultimate does that mean the first game has already been translated?

Also so those who have played both what are the differences? I only tried the original. It looked great but I don't like playing action games that try to add use of the stylus. I assume they had the thumb strap in mind but since they don't package them with the DS anymore they need to quit making games like that. So basicly I'm asking if they took out the touch screen fight features.

The touchscreen fighting feature is indeed present in J!US, however I cannot give it a concrete comparison to Jump! Superstars, as I've never played the prequel. It is very light however, and little do you need the stylus pen to switch supports (unless you use more than two, in which case, I just use the back of my nail, lightly tapping on the Hori-screen shielded touchscreen of mine

).

2wirends, the translation project should have no effect whatsoever in regards to playing on WiFi, as the translation is directly placed into the game code. In other words, the changes are client-sided, not server-sided. The changes you see will only appear on your own screen, not your competitors (unless, of course, they have patched their own game with a translation patch).

Heartman: No, the first one has not been translated. There is no interconnecting storyline between the two, so it doesn't really matter. Also, there's no need to use the stylus, a light tap with your finger works fine, just like in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.

hey guys.

i suggest asking adc-elite fansubs for help with translation. They have just stopped subbing one piece and have done a great job. They might have some free time to help. Vegapunk r also a good group and might be worth asking.

U might also want to post on animesuki forums. A lot of anime fans go there
