It's amazing how fast people work at things like this. Hours after the games official release, we have the ROM and a mostly complete AP patch.

Now people need to work this fast for a quick translation hack.

Someone have a solution for: run the PKMN White ROM in DSi 1.4U with R4i Ultra (not the real R4, it's a clone..) ??? I've tried to play the rom, but shows a WHITE SCREEN.

And Wood R4, and WOOD R4 (FOR CLONES) don't work on my R4i Ultra..

How do I edit the hex?
When I fill in the numbers/letters I'm supposed to enter, it gives completely different results =S
Like when I enter 3C 00 9F E5 00 10 90 E5 38 20 9F E5 02 00 51 E1 in the White rom at the mentioned place, it gives hex that starts with 33

I'm pretty sure the BGM isn't screwed up. That would require someone going into the rom, and having editted all the music files. Not only is that a feat not usually accomplished with most MUSIC games, but a pain in the ass all on it's own. I'm sure that the BGM's you've heard from recorded youtube videos were just at a higher pitch from the recorder or something. I'm about 99% sure these are the right BGM's.

There was another kernel for R4 Wood posted in the translation/hacking bit, and that works. Combine it with the new patch and you've got a working rom. (I think it still freezes though).
