Anyone know where to buy a good DSTWO that is authentic? Might as well get one for this game as I need another anyways.

ShopTemp sells them. Just click on Shop on the top menu bar under the GBAtemp banner.

Jouni Malinen and contributors copyright  2004 - 2006 Devicescape software Inc.
I will release more details later XVI32 doesn't have a proper copy function.

Nice of Nintendo to release it in Japanese first so we have the protection thoroughly neutered by the time it's dumped in English.

Quick update, up to the the first gym, about to go for the badge in a few. No crashes or any issues at all, still get my exp gain etc.

Which flashcard or emu do you use?
Supercard DSTwo, the only cart that works without any patching so far.

BTW to the other poster. I'm running this on my DSi and DSi XL, but I havent checked the extra DSi enhanced functions yet. Dunno about any region locks, but both black & white are running perfect on american DSi.

To the guy who posted the hex strings, do you think you actually have a chance of cracking the AP, or are you just doing a misguided attempt at getting attention by showing everyone that you know how to download a hex editor and then click a few buttons to display STRANGE HACKER SCRIPT!!!?

here you go ppl a working emu to play B/W http://www.megaupload.com/?d=U3UE7ZGB

What is the point of this? The DeSmuME website is still online, why would you re-upload the files?

If you're running it on a flashcart then it's not running in DSi mode and none of the DSi features will be available. Which is why there's no region lock either.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
