There is no such a thing a sa "working emu", since it has an anti-piracy system that prevents you to get experiece from battles in almost every way you can play

BTW to the other poster. I'm running this on my DSi and DSi XL, but I havent checked the extra DSi enhanced functions yet. Dunno about any region locks, but both black & white are running perfect on american DSi.

If you're running it on a flashcart then it's not running in DSi mode and none of the DSi features will be available. Which is why there's no region lock either.
