(but green or purple would do as well)
The link I posted on page 1 is for a/the manufacturer on aliexpress, they have all those colours with d-pad, and I can vouch that the d-pad is nice.Who can recommend a really quality D-Pad replacement case for the JoyCon?
My favorite color would be this:

The seller of that color also has dpad versions, that's what mine is (but in green). I can say they are good qualityWho can recommend a really quality D-Pad replacement case for the JoyCon?

I have been planning on getting these (color undetermined) for a while. I am curious, did they include anything like a rubber pad to make the buttons softer? I hate these hard clicky ass buttons, only pet peeve with the Switch honestly. The link I posted on page 1 is for a/the manufacturer on aliexpress, they have all those colours with d-pad, and I can vouch that the d-pad is nice.
Thats most likely the case those ribbon cables on the rail sliders are extremely flimsy when taking off the backplate. I ended up having to buy a replacement cable from ebay b/c It got detached from the rail.I modded for now my right joy con only, because the left was the wrong one (i wanted it with buttons but it was delivered the one wit d-pad).
And now my right joy con doesnt work in handheld mode (connected to the switch). If i let the joycon inside of the switch and used the pro controler in tv mode it rondomly vibrates coz of connection response.
I had put it back into the origi shell with no effect - but i think i hit the ribboncable of the slider. on ebay I ordered a new slider with ribbon cable for 8 euros. Hope it will fix that issue
Nope still clicky af, but work perfectly.I have been planning on getting these (color undetermined) for a while. I am curious, did they include anything like a rubber pad to make the buttons softer? I hate these hard clicky ass buttons, only pet peeve with the Switch honestly.
This saddens me. I was hoping they'd include a thin rubber pad for the buttons to reduce clicking. Oh well, can't win them all. Still badass shells though.Nope still clicky af, but work perfectly.
They're isn't really a good way to add rubber to it without ruining the functionality. Pretty much every mobile grabbing device uses this type of button. I sent really see any problem with it, and I honestly prefer them because you can usually get more precise inputs with them. This saddens me. Functionally, they are absolutely fine. It's the annoyance of the click which can be heard over the full volume of a game. I couldn't care less if it is standard or not, the shells sure aren't. And sure they may be more reliable, but from my point of view, they are no better than newer controllers using soft buttons. It's a matter of preference I guess, not reliability or functionality. They're isn't really a good way to add rubber to it without ruining the functionality. Rubber membrane buttons work differently than these clicky ones. It would require a mainboard mod to make it a rubber membrane type, a simple case mod won't be able to change the click.Functionally, they are absolutely fine. Ah took me a bit to find it. Guess I'm right here? The link I posted on page 1 is for a/the manufacturer on aliexpress, they have all those colours with d-pad, and I can vouch that the d-pad is nice.
Please look at the link (under the quote above). Is the first color (named "blue") the one from the picture I quoted before? I'm not sure and usually I'm more the "green guy" than the "blue guy" but the green looks too Playmobil/LEGO like to me.The seller of that color also has dpad versions, that's what mine is (but in green). I actually have that same color with a dpad. Just look around on Aliexpress, or go with amazon if you want to pay more for faster shipping, they're all the same thingWho can recommend a really quality D-Pad replacement case for the JoyCon?

Right, but a rubber membrane manufactured to fit snuggly should/would reduce their volume a bit.Rubber membrane buttons work differently than these clicky ones. It would require a mainboard mod to make it a rubber membrane type, a simple case mod won't be able to change the click.
That looks great!I actually have that same color with a dpad. Just look around on Aliexpress, or go with amazon if you want to pay more for faster shipping, they're all the same thing
