I heard the hardware that goes into those dongles only costs like five dollars. 25 bones for a no firmware generic you could make yourself cheaper seems kinda dumb.

Tell them it's the only one that will never be detected by Sony and charge them the moon in addition.

Tell them the truth... add in double the cost of labour, machine maintainance, and personal greed... why, I do believe it comes to around $25-30.

probably the most expensive piece is the chip used, atmel or pic
other components should be about 2/3$ with mass production. i believe final cost should be around 5/10$ to make these ps3 jailbreaks .
