Hacking Is there a safe IOS61 Patch (for custom channels on SD menu)..

I patched my IOS61 a while ago and I was able to load custom channels from the SD Menu... I did something to mess it up and I had to install a clean IOS... Is there a safe updater that I can use (doesn't the IOS61 patcher download the latest IOS61 from NUS?). I read somewhere that I would brick if I used it...

It's a special patch that allows non-shop-channel-installed channels to be copied and run off of the SD card, it runs on IOS61... (It is the only non-cios IOS patched on my wii and before I had patched it, I couldn't load custom channels off of it or WADS that I downloaded because I bought them from shop channel and a stupid friend of mine formatted it... (before preloader

You mean IOS60. Use DOP-IOS Mod to install IOS60 again. When asked, say YES to apply the patch to it.

IOS61 is used by HBC and Shop Channel ONLY. The system menu runs on IOS60.

So I just need to Trucha patch it with DOP-IOS MOD? Is there a special (IOS60) version I need to install? Or just the latest? (I ask because the new ones are stubbed)

Never install the stub, use the latest working version 6174!

not a special version, just a non stubbed one

dop-ios won't let you install stubs.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I installed IOS60 and had it use Sig_Hash_Identify (or whatever) and now, my system files are corrupted!!!!! (I have preloader forcing the menu to run off of 222 for now...)

I want IOS60 back!!!!!

You have to reinstall Preloader/Priiloader, as far as I know. This should fix it.

That will. It should be noted though that the newer Priiloader usually doesn't cause this issue.

Once you reinstall it, be sure to set the menu IOS back to 60.

are you even on 4.1? if you are on 4.2 you need to patch ios 70.
