Well, i did a little research on the forum before starting this tread. But since most people don't even know what a LEGIT CIA is the search results are overflowed of people complaining they got banned even using a "LEGIT" Pokemon SUN CIA and ETC.

Well, about the question of the Title of my post. I GOT my hands on a New 3DSXL Lime Green that come with pre-installed Super Mario World. I'm going to A9LH it tomorrow and want to dump this game and generate a Legit Cia from it, but i don't know how to. Is there a guide or something?

Download the latest update of Decrypt9WIP or Hourglass9, depending on your setup.
https://github.com/d0k3/Decrypt9WIP/releases
https://github.com/d0k3/Hourglass9/releases/

1. Open up Hourglass9 -> Miscellaneous Options -> SysNAND title to CIA or EmuNAND title to CIA (depending on which NAND the 3DS game was tied to)
2. Use the arrow keys (right-left and down-up) and find the title ID for your game.
I'll use Pokemon Moon as an example, which the title id is: 0004000000175E00 - it'll be displayed in Hourglass9 as /title/00040000/00175E00
3. Once you've found and selected the folder that matchedd the title ID for your game, press A.
4. It will now attempt to build the CIA

1. Open up Decrypt9WIP -> Content Decryptor Options -> CIA Builder Options -> CIA Builder (SysNAND/decr.) or CIA Builder (EmuNAND/decr.)(depending on which NAND the 3DS game was tied to)
2. Use the arrow keys (right-left and down-up) and find the title ID for your game.

TitleID for SMW is 000400000f700e00. Get titleIDs -snip-.

Question: Since SuMo was preinstalled on the 3DS, does it have to be dumped from that console to be considered "legit" or can the SuMo CIA be downloaded and then built from Nintendo's server using the Funkey program and still be considered legit so it can be installed on Sysnand?

You need to dump it from the 3ds or it isn't legit.

..? There's no systems that have released with SuMo preinstalled afaik?

Ah, neat! Legit CIA's seem pointless these days unless you are trying to load up a system with them and sell them off as "legally installed"

Several clients ask us for unmoddified system, and that's the way to put some games in a unmoddified system. We still can find alot of 10.7 and Under system in my country and that's a great way to add some value to them before selling.

Just seems pointless because you still have to hack the system to get them to install regardless. It'd be easier just to leave CFW on it.

Yup, no need for tickets or that nonsense.
Well, your metod managed to extract the CIA and i was Able to install it on CFW system. But i want to extract the cia and the signature, to make a Legit cia that will work on other non-cfw systems.

@GuyInDogSuit's method is not the correct one for what you want to do, they seem to have confused legit CIA's with Good CIAs. The method given by @zoogie is the right one. FunkyCIA2 can create legit CIA's from pre-installed titles. Find it here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release...p-content-super-easy-and-fast-2-1-fix.376941/
