Hello too you all.

I have 4.2 Pal and the problem is that when i go inside settings in the Wii menu it freezes after a while,
but not all the times. And i never gets some error message.

Symptom 1: Settings never show up. Only one ugly black screen.
Symptom 2: Settings starts but freezes after a time. 1sec to some minutes.
Symptom 3: Settings starts and dont freezes. Maybe some time but i havn't waited more then 10 minutes =)

I have tryed the app pimp my wii but that didnt help. I have Bootmi and preloader 0.29 installed if it helps you.
Dont know when this problem appeared. I had lost my internet connection for maybe 3 weeks ago, and when i tryed go to settings i found this problem.

I also have problem with my SD card, its a 4gig sdhc card.
Homebrew channel and usb loader etc, can read this card, but not the Wii.
My other 2 card works great (1gig and 2gig) and my 4gig works in my friends Wii.
Is this problem maybe releated with my first problem?

I really hope someone can help me now =)

have you tried not taking out the 4gb card and going into the system menu?

reinstall the system menu. if you need an easy way, dop ios mod v8 is easy.

Now Wii can read my 4gig sdhc card and dont freeze in the settings menu.
He also deleted my preloader, but thats easy to reinstall.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
