I mounted the nand and used a data recovery tool (Rphoto) on the twl_photo file but the recovered jpgs are blank and unopenable, The photos were deleted quite recently and other than the DSI tutorial images, the chances of new data overwriting the deleted ones is small due to minimal usage. The recovered jpgs have dates and sizes on them but the internal data is all messed up. Is it a problem with Rphoto recovering these files or is it really not possible to recover deleted photos from a DSI?
I've seen a lot of threads and discussions of this topic, with many saying it's possible but I've yet to see someone successfully recover lost/deleted data from their ds :,) I'm not that knowlegable on data recovery or homebrew so anything helps
