ROM Hack Question Is it possible to modify 3D All-Stars's Sunshine controls?

Just wondering if/how it would be possible to make the following changes:
'Stop and shoot' on ZL/ZR
Light spray on L/R
Nozzle change on A
First person camera on X
Axis reversion to be like the original when stopping and shooting

Did a quick Google around and I couldn't find any threads on this subject.

You need to know:
- which function is reading controller input
- probably it's using struct, so where this struct is hold
- how this struct looks
- what game function reads this offset
- where exactly is instruction reading offset of controller input
- what are the values for each input
- try to find instruction comparing with this value
- change it to match your button

Good luck with that. it would be more doable with plugin. Then you need only 1st, 3rd and 6th points.

Just use remapping setting if possible.

Just remapping the buttons in joycons config on switch.

You can edit the button mapping in the "MarioSunshine.config" romfs file under the "JoyPad" section. (Found in romfs/data/database/config/). I was able to swap buttons, however I'm not sure about inverting the axes.
