Hacking Is it possible to dump to bootloader of the EZ-Flash Omega?

I tried doing this using a homebrew program, and all I got was a bunch of 0xFFs. Is there any actual way to do this?

AFAIK, no. The bootloader is part of the firmware and as Ezflash2 noted the firmware is encrypted. If you want to take a stab at trying to figure out the encryption key/algorithm, feel free to look at Newest_FW_ver.h in the source. Even if the results weren't encrypted, I get the impression the FW is mostly just encoding for the Spartan 3A FPGA. You can read about the FPGA here if you want to take a crack at it from that end.
