So I currently have menuhax on a O3DS 10.1. Is there any reason to not update to 10.3 and grab the updated hax? I feel like I should get 10.3 ASAP so I can get ironhax before 10.4 but would I lose anything important?
=Ah, well i suppose i can update my old 2DS to 10.3, it's never used anyway (it's on 10.1), nothing hacked installed, so i can try some stuff out on it
Nevermind, it's working now!, it's updating to 10.3
Read this and follow instructions. It's that simple really. Make sure to download the homebrew starter kit, (Linked on the page) and extract it to the root of your SD.

It does it for me on O3DS 10.3 too, but I think it's due to a server overload (AKA too many people lusting for browserhax) because I"ve gotten it to boot to Homebrew twice now.
Ok, do I just download menuhax 2.1, put the files wherever they're supposed to go, and then update and it will work? No need to go through stuff like sliderhax?

I'm confused. Should I update to 10.3 on my Old 3DS on 10.1? I have Cubic Ninja and OOT, but I really want eshop access. And how exactly does the new Ironhax work?

According to an earlier post, it works by them having made a patch that allows you to download an older version of Ironfall.
I do not yet know how that works. It would be -extremely- easy for Nintendo to have just been watching the stream and then pull down older versions of Ironfall from their servers as soon as it was announced they would be giving us a way to download the older version (or they probably already removed v1.0 and v1.1 from their servers completely.)
Maybe they found a way to download off the eShop while redirecting download data to a different server so that it downloads Ironfall v1.0/v1.1, and the eShop does all the authentication, encrypts it properly for your 3DS and gives you proper tickets? Would that even be possible?
