In a press release yesterday, Apple said it has sold three million units of its new iPad 3 tablet device since its launch on March 16. With prices ranging from $499 (USD) all the way up to over $800, some of the new features include a "A5X chip with quad-core graphics, a 5 megapixel iSight® camera." According to Apple Senior Vice President Philip Schiller, this is the biggest iPad launch to date.
It didn't take long for iPad 3 to get jailbroken, either. According to a report by ZDnet, within hours of the system's release a hacker by the name MuscleNerd had already posted proof of the system accessing the Cydia Store.
