Lucas Arts decided to grace the famous Indiana Jones on Wii. Expect this to hit around Spring 2009 for Wii, DS, and PSP. The video only says playstation but the PEGI already rated the DS and PSP versions. This most likely took over for the, rumored to be canceled, Xbox/ PS3 Indiana Jones game.

Discuss.

It's LucasArts! They haven't done a decent Wiimote lightsaber.. I doubt they'll do a decent Wiimote whip

Besides, a PSP version coming along means that the Wii version will be the same game but stretched to fit a bigger screen..

Cheers to wrist sprains everywhere. No but seriously why did indie look nothing like indie...and sound like he needed a throat lozenge?

Did you ever hear about how LucasArts got upset at Nintendo over the Motion Plus? They would of loved to use it for the Clone Wars game, but Nintendo kept it to themselves for the most part until it was revealed, and the development was too far in to scrap it to take advantage of it.

And there's not much to a whip. You just...whip. You don't duel with whips.

This could have a great gameplay on the Wii with pointing to aim weapons and to aim at places to throw your whip at and of course wiimote whipping just for fun

But, since there's a PSP version announced.. the Wii one will probably be just a port of that with some unnecessary gimmicky controls.. I hope I'm wrong

But on topic, I think this could have potential... or could be horrible. The last Indiana Jones on the O.G. xbox was pretty good. But then again I have no idea who developed that game and who's developing this game. As long as Lucas Arts remember Indy is no way your standard action man (who kills everything he sees), I think this has potential. It appears that's the way there handling it considering Indy runs through out the video. But then again the video could have been from the HD Indy game only with title replaced just so they can get some early buzz while they wait to port the PSP version to Wii (highly possible since the PSP and DS version was rated first). Well just have to wait and see.

I hope it's either Harrison Ford or Doug Lee (from Fate of Atlantis).

Well, in the trailer, Indy says "Just terrific". Can anyone identify whose voice it is? I'm not really used to Harrison Ford's voice, to be honest, so I can't tell whether it's him or a voice-lookalike.

QUOTE(LagunaCid @ Jan 25 2009, 12:56 AM) With "PSP" and "Wii" on the same paragraph... You know it's bad.

I don't really know how to interpret that...

looks ok but as its all cgi footage you cant tell what it will be like. One thing is for sure though the DS version will suck just like 98% of the games for the console.

It's been discontinued but you can find em second hand. It's the FiiO model K1.
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@SylverReZ nice. I've been using my BTR5 pretty much daily, got it in late 2020. Mostly use it as a desktop DAC though and the battery has already swelled up in it once, so I had to replace it. Some day I gotta grab a proper desktop DAC that doesn't have a battery lol

@K3Nv3, Yeah, cheap and nasty earbuds don't deliver the best mids, they end up sounding really muddy.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Sicklyboy, I got mine around 2022 (iirc) and it was brand new, never opened, and for £15 too compared to paying nearly £30 elsewhere.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Sicklyboy, That sucks when the battery already begins to swell up. You considering on a desktop replacement, and if so, which one?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@SylverReZ damn 15 is shockingly cheap for that. Even 30 feels like a good price just given what a bunch of other FiiO stuff costs. Granted, not familiar with what those were originally selling for, so who knows lol

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
As far as a replacement for my BTR5, I don't really have my eyes set on anything specific yet but it'll likely be from either Fiio or Schiit Audio.

@Sicklyboy, Originally when it came out, they sold for around $40 USD according to FiiO's news bulletin. https://www.fiio.com/newsinfo/54677.html

@Sicklyboy, I would prefer FiiO as the better brand for a USB DAC.

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@K3Nv3, all depends how much money you wanna spend. I had skullcandy headphones and shit way back when but I never liked anything as much as the headphones (and earbuds) I use nowadays

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@SylverReZ yeah fwiw I've been quite happy with my FiiO BTR5 so I don't have any specific reason to not a FiiO again. Just gotta see what's available and how much I'm trying to spend lol

I have the FiiO X1-ii, and love what it does, but the battery life is kinda ass and the sluggish, unresponsive menu makes me regret my purchase a little.

(not the wii u version, specifically the switch version)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Frankly not. That's like a 'cheat engine' for BoTW, right?
