This config works for me. No version of NeoGamma has worked for me with this config.

only got mijne working through USB (softmod) is there a IOS53bugfix as softchip asks for 53 but it gives the errror dvd Ioct or somthign the same as IOS55 without bugfix

Doesn't matter. If you get the right ios 53, the wii will just restart to SM like when running from disc or neogamma. Tried this myself.

Using ULoader 3.1 and cIOS rev15 works like a charm...

If wii just restarts just use Pimp my wii to update all the IOS'es and you'll be good to go

Just wanted to confirm that New_Super_Mario_Bros_Wii_USA_PROPER_FiX_Wii-iND is working with the unscrubbed (yes you have to download 4 gigs) QWiif USA NTSC release.

My setup

No Trucha bugged IOS 53 was needed

Loads fine from disc channel, been playing for over an hour, no probs.

Ditto. I tried loads of combinations of different loaders and cIOS's, just kept restarting the Wii every time. I went with USB in the end (first time I tried the USB loader) and found it worked fine. I would certainly recommend going the USB route if you've got a spare drive knocking about. I used my spare 60GB one I pulled from my PS3 and it's all good.

works perfectly, using uloader 3.1. my computer froze when trying to burn 2x, so i burnt at 8x and it still works great

I got it working through 4.1u, cIOS38rev14, and neogamma R7, thats right R7
and this is for NTSC-U ONLY

Patch File : New_Super_Mario_Bros_Wii_USA_PROPER_FiX_Wii-iND

Put iso in one folder, extract the patch file to the SAME folder, run qf-nsmbw_fixv2.bat and wait for it to finish.

Here are my findings.

To play from a burnt disc with NeoGamma R7 or R8B12

CiosRev14(* I did not try Cios Rev15)
Patched version of the game
(The original iso file you use must be a full iso file unscrubbed/unpatched)

*Follow the instructions included with the patch.

Burnt disc using patched scrubbed version

CiosRev15
Uloader 3.1
Scrubbed version of the game already pre patched
(* Both NTSC and PAL worked for me under these settings *)

When you run Uloader press the 2 button the wiiremote and it should pop up another menu.In the upper right hand corner press the dvd button then wait a minute and you see more options pop up at the bottom of the screen.Go into the config settings and change the ios used from 222 to 249 and then exit the config setup and then load the game.

*The game will run slower when running from disc and it will seem like it locks up at certain points for example on the hold wii remote sideways screen but just give it a few extra seconds and it should load*

It seems NeoGamma will not play the scrubbed version of either version.
So if you only have the scrubbed version the use Uloader 3.1

MOCDHIP USERS

I can't confirm anything.

Best bet would be wait until your modchip gets its firmware updated

or

Try the patched 1:1 copy from above and see if it loads through modchip.

Used Wiiscrubber to change the main.dol. After trying a couple of installs, it seemed I missed some cios install. Anyway, I have to say that NSMB works with uloader, also longer than 10 minutes.
At first, with R7 it didn't start and I got that famous green screen. Now, after correct install, it works on both uloader and R7! :S I'm sorry, but I think it worked after ios 222... (I have to check it!). I have firmware 4.2e.
(and no, I do not have any modchip)

after patching the image it says that the image is no longer a valid disc image? Also the patch came with no dol, just a bunch of bat and exe files. imagediff why?

The patch is named qf-nsmbw_fixv2.iso.imageDiff

When you select the path to save the new iso you need to add .iso to the end of the file name

if you only name it NSMB it will not come out as an iso so name it NSMB.iso

If you already made the image without the iso on the end of it just rename the image and add the iso to the end of it.

That's the way i did it and it work.
