Hardware If I buy a PSTV now, what will likely be the Out-of-Box Firmware?

I'm curious (and a bit worried), if it'll come with a hackable Firmware. What are your experiences?
It will 100% come on a hackable firmware if you're buying it new. 3.61 was released yesterday, there is not enough time for them to get it onto systems :P The chances are it'll be on 3.20 if my memory is right, I've never had a PSTV on a higher firmware.

Well mostly possible. Since they don't make any new ones right? That be weird. More possible than 3ds that for sure. Since i doubt people will resell 3.61 so soon. Don't buy used consoles if you want hax

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
