There are a half dozen Wii U games that have been released on the Switch already, which is like 80% of the total library!
Maybe 3D world will get ported by Nintendo eventually, it's probably top of their list (of Wii U games they haven't ported yet) at this point. Don't expect to be able to emulate it full speed.
We need Galaxy first! They need to make that a Trilogy (with SMG3) and make a Switch Lite bundle. I`d buy it today for my boy!
I'd definitely be up for Galaxy. I'd have played it on my Wii U gamepad in bed already if it didn't insist on using wiimote, I haven't made the effort to play it on TV yet.
I completely agree... but is allowing any Android shovelware reject onto the eShop any better? lol. I wonder how many of the current 2300+ titles are real gems...

That only works with games on this list that say they work with gamepad, which is around 50%.

If you try to force gamepad use on a game that can't use it you won't be able to play it or it'll freeze.

The only way I could see Wii U games "working" on Switch is if someone was able to develop a Wii U Gamepad client for it. But even then... you'd need an actual Wii U. So... it's a trade-off lol.
But it’s so much easier to just ask here and let someone else do it. How many people come here saying “I’m noob lol need help how to do something that’s been described a million times lol?”
I saw this article somewhere that said if you buy a disc-to-usb adapter, plug it into your switch, and put a wii u game in it, it'll pop up on your home menu. Is this true?
