Homebrew I want DSi CFW but I downgraded to 1.4

So, as you read the title, I want to add cfw to dsi but the thing is, I downgraded to 1.4...

And I have a question: can I update normally to 1.4.5 and then cfw?

One other question: if I mod my dsi, will I lose the dsi startup animation?

Hello.

For your First question - I do not know HOW did you downgrade,so I can not say it for 100% sure.I THINK yes.
For your Second question: With TWiLight Menu @Robz8 added the DSi Animation/the Health Warning Screen and als Nintendo DS Menu (LaunchPad).
This feature can enabled or disabled if you do not want it.
