Hacking I think my DVD burner may have broken...

Whenever I burn a Wii game, I have it burned onto a SONY DVD-R that works really well (I have a separate laptop that used these DVDs and they burn 100% of the time). However, when I burn them on my personal laptop, they always go through an error reading sector ###### during its verification process. I've been burning DVDs for a while now (burned more than 50 DVDs on this laptop) and now I'm starting to believe that my burner is burned out. Is there a way to fix this? Another thing I should mention is that it has no problem burning and verifying GCN isos (along with multigame isos) so I'm not entirely sure if it's truly my burner at fault. I think it may be the size of the iso... I have not burned any multigame GCN isos bigger than 4.0GB so maybe the IMGburn is having problem burning correctly because the iso is too big?
