Most people have taken to using a virtual machine with windows XP in it and passing the USB through it. A guide to such things http://gbatemp.net/t275407-using-virtualbo...-gba-flashcarts

If you have a DS you might also try http://code.google.com/p/fas1/

Also although it will probably not do you much good http://if2a.free.fr/ might be of interest.

By EZF Advance III I assume you mean http://www.pocketheaven.com/ph/wiki/index....EZF_Advance_III rather than what most people call the EZ3 ( http://media.photobucket.com/image/recent/...gbatemp/ez3.jpg ).

Third party flashing tools are few and far between. There was littlewriter way back when ( http://www.gameboy-advance.net/fal_soft/fl...ttle_writer.htm ) and http://mootan.hg.to/fmgba/ might also be of note.
http://www.ziegler.desaign.de/GBA/gba.htm and http://www.devrs.com/gba/

Aside from the odd thing to back up SRAM (more of a happy extra feature) unless it was made around the time of the DS (the 3 in 1 and other expansion packs and by extension some of the more general purpose packs) then there is nothing (fas1 turned a lot of heads when it appeared) unless you count things like http://nds.cmamod.com/2009/07/07/pokepatch-v42-and-v5alpha3/ .

Just tried the newest version on my F2A Pro. Works like a charm. Very Spiffy, thanks FAST. Don't suppose there is something like this for my F2A Ultra, or EZF Advance III?
As far as I know, the official Flash 2 Advance software is the only thing that can work with F2AU cartridges. iF2A was looking into supporting it, but I don't think they ever succeeded.

Hence why I'm still holding onto my WinXP desktop here, hehe. Ya never know when you'll need a parallel port or floppy drive.

I got the same problem, but found out that the hardware ID of the driver wasn't right.
Maby you could try the driver from this rar file, it worked at my windows 7 x86 pc.

Let me know if it worked out and good luck.
