Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, but I need some help.
I was playing a game on SNES9x. My saves have been fine, but one of my computers won't load my latest save. I'm talking about normal/in-game saves, not save states. It goes like this:
Is there something I don't know about? Are there "real" saves somewhere else? Is SNES9x intelligent and knows what computer I'm on or something? What the heck is going on?
I was playing a game on SNES9x. My saves have been fine, but one of my computers won't load my latest save. I'm talking about normal/in-game saves, not save states. It goes like this:
- I started playing on Computer A.
- Got to World 3 and saved.
- Transferred the saves to a flash drive, and put them on Computer B.
- Computer B loaded it just fine, and I continued onto World 4. Saved.
- Transferred saves to flash drive again, and put them back on Computer A.
- It would only load World 3.
- I figured I just did something wrong, so I tried it again.
- This time, just to make sure, I zipped the entire SNES9x folder on Computer B and transferred that.
- I put it on Computer A. Now I have the same folder with the same saves, files, and .exe.
- It still only loads World 3.
- It loads World 4 on Computer B, but World 3 on Computer A. They're both the same thing.
