Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, but I need some help. I was playing a game on SNES9x. My saves have been fine, but one of my computers won't load my latest save. I'm talking about normal/in-game saves, not save states. It goes like this: I started playing on Computer A. Got to World 3 and saved. Transferred the saves to a flash drive, and put them on Computer B. Computer B loaded it just fine, and I continued onto World 4. Saved. Transferred saves to flash drive again, and put them back on Computer A. It would only load World 3. I figured I just did something wrong, so I tried it again. This time, just to make sure, I zipped the entire SNES9x folder on Computer B and transferred that. I put it on Computer A. Now I have the same folder with the same saves, files, and .exe. It still only loads World 3. It loads World 4 on Computer B, but World 3 on Computer A. They're both the same thing. Basically, to sum it up: My latest save is World 4. Yet, one of the computers somehow rewinds the save to when I last saved. Or something odd like that. I don't see how it's possible since I literally copy-pasted the folder to my flash drive. Is there something I don't know about? Are there "real" saves somewhere else? Is SNES9x intelligent and knows what computer I'm on or something? What the heck is going on?
