The guy just made it compatible for DS today! (8-5-07) And all because I asked for it.....a CF/SD speed tester for DS and GBA flashcarts! WOOT!

I haven't actually tried it yet (got to go pick up our new refrigerator in a few minutes) , but my guess would be that it is what I asked for in my other thread here:

Here's where to get the tester program:

Made by a dude named "tepples".

Now we'll have to start a new thread benching all our different cards.....but I gotta go right now. Arrg!

Ok, so I downloaded it and used it on my R4 using a Japanese Kingston... and to be honest, I didn't understand the information it was trying to tell me...

Here's a vid of the results... even though I don't know what they mean...

Yeah, I came to about the same conclusion. Every option came up with a different number and it didn't make any sense.

Oh well, I hoped it would it would have been useful, but I don't see how that's useful for anything. Bummer.

Well, these numbers are benchmark tools to gauge the memory, and if it has certain problems. The random is to test latency, and sequential is to test read/write. It is not that difficult to comprehend. Thank you tepples; It is a fine program indeed.

P.S. It is only for slot-2 cart. That is why you're getting gibberish results.
