Worth it for Worms Armageddon alone. Such a fantastic game. Every new worms feels like crap because of how good Armageddon is.

Hmm I took "*Please note this bundle requires you to redeem on your Steam account. " to mean you needed a steam account, when it is not the case they usually make sure to note it properly.

As for why no steam then as long as they do not allow me to freely give away or sell my old games I am not inclined to use them. There are other things I do not like but I am prepared to write those off as the cost of doing business.

I like digital distribution of games fine (my data backup systems, to say nothing of the option for redownloading things, are better and more robust than my systems for storing discs and the like), I just like being able to lend, sell, trade or dispose of said games however I see fit to more and Steam does not allow that.

At first, I read "Worms Reloaded Gold", but then... eugh.

I already have Armageddon, so I'm staying at least 50 feet away from this bundle.

Oh I could see some people with different lines drawn in the sand (one is an asset of sorts, another could exist where a low price makes for a disposable pleasure for of thing), for myself I figure I lose nothing of great note by not being able to play them and in bending there risk of the crack through which such things can crawl getting wider.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
