It will still be until 2018 for anything to actually be made. This is just the major access point and its been known for a while. Someone has to actually MAKE something out of this.

Too late, updated for Sonic Mania. I fucking knew this would happen :/ Hopefully something can be done on 3.0.1 some time soon/near future. Doubt I'll be buying any more games for a while anyway.

I didn't know how to delete the 3.01 update a month or so ago and didn't know Switch already downloaded it onto my Switch, so I thought pressing update would say WIFI is not on or something and it updated, I guess I will just keep it at 3.01 and wait, I'd rather have homebrew like SNES in HD and on both on the go and TV than for Nintendos way of trickling classic games slowly for years to come, once SNES and NES games come, which is the subscription based thing next year.
