Gaming How would I go about making a 20GB PS3 Region Free for PS1 and PS2 games ?

Hello. So a small mom and pop shop by me has a 20 GB BC PS3. I wanna get it to mod and play all my PS1 and PS2 games from every region. Thing is, I’ve only seen tutorials on installing to the hard drive and playing from there. I just wanna be able to use it normally and insert any region PS1/2 game when I feel like it. Is there a mod just to make it region free for it ? Thanks you for your time.

You will need to hack or jailbreak your PS3 using either CFW or HEN [HEN is extremely recommended due to the ease of access]

However, i am not familiar with any software that is able to launch out-of-region games, you will need to look after that yourself

Go for the Evilnat CFW as this is more up-to-date and has a lot more features built in. Rebug hasn't been developed for such a long time, so don't bother.
