Hacking How to take in game screenshot on old 3ds?

So i'm using an old 3ds with menuhax and reinand. I heard you can take screenshot with NTR but NTR only work on new3ds right? What other option do i have? Please help.

If you can load homebrew, you can use a homebrew called hans, it can take screenshots, just remember to return to homebrew menu to convert them to a proper format the PC can use.

I did try this Hans stuff on HBL but it freeze after I select the game. Is it normal? And what are the buttons i need to use to take the screenshot?

You can use either Hans or NTR. To take a screenshot in hans you must press the home button

According to someone who uses it for reviews here "Try using hans and hope the game works, if it doesn't is probably not compatible for some reason" I still find it weird if the homebrew isn't working with all games, why aren't any of them being updated? Even the homebrew loader been the same version since i known it to exist is not updated like the wii loader was

so that means It's impossible to use hans on mhgen?

If you tried and it doesn't work, then sadly it doesn't work, you may use NTR in reinand instead

Your better off asking someone who made it, i dunno, It does have screen capture properties over debugger with pc, in case you don't use capture cards. Perhaps i had hoped someone could maybe invent a record to sd function?

I guess something like ps4 and xbox one has where you can actually record gameplay to MP4 on the sd card or something.

What's your setup? If you're using Luma >5.5 you need a firmware.bin from 10.7 in the luma folder with the Boot NTR with NFIRM support. If you're on 11.X and Luma <6.0 then you DO NOT need a firmware.bin in the luma folder, only the Boot NTR with NATIVEFIRM support for 11.0/11.1.

No it won't screenshot as a stereoscopic image

Looks like it's imposible to take screenshots with mhgen even with NTR. It works for DQVII tho.
