PS1/2 How to softmod my Fat PS2 (No ModChip Or 007)

Hello GBATEMP I have recently found my old dusty Fat PS2 (Model:SCPH-50001) in my basement. I told myself why not hack it. Ok so here goes.
I would like to hack my PS2 to play all my scratched backup games that wont play.

Unfortunatly i dont have the 007 games. I heard you can do it with Star Wars Battelfront 2 and demo disks (i have #11)

So heres what i have
-16Mb Memory Card
-1 or 16 Gb Thumb Stick (Flash Drive)
-PS2 Obviously
-Laptop
-Star Wars Battlefront 2/Demo Disk (Jam Pack #11)
-DVD-R 4.7 Gb
So is there a way to softmod it with what i currently have? Thank you.

Not sure bout the Demo disks as i never tried that way but easiest thing would be to have someone install FreeMCBoot on your Memory Card.....so when u turn on ur PS2 u will get the Custom Menu Boot


Then u can add any Apps like HDLoader or Emulators with a USB Stick and u would just copy files over thru the Boot Menu to ur internal PS2 Memory
