Hacking How to save in SuperCard DS One

im trying with mario kart ds, unpatched, and after turning it off and waiting 2 hours.. it saved... so again im confused haha... because i thought that i wouldnt be able to save if the rom was unpatched.

any official word on this?

No.

The SCDS IS saving the game after you restart the DS
but you don't have to restart each time you end a game.

coroner4Along with my save issues, also I have problems with Castlevania:PoR (it freezes, the touch screen goes black, the upper screen still shows the map and the music is still playing) (but no slowdowns in the intro). My memory is 1GB Kingston microSD (made in Japan). I tried with FA32 and FAT with 64K cluster size. Also I tried with 2x, 3x and 4x the Speed setting.

Anyway, the solution: I've ordered also an R4

I also have this problem using 1GB Kingston MicroSD
and this issue is already fixed with v1.1 update
but I guess you're too busy with your R4

ohhhh i see! so i guess thats why it has a battery! so it can hold the save in ram until you turn the DS on again. Great.. 2 mysterys solved for me
