Yeah that’s possible.

Same process, put on USB stick in PS4 folder, make an UPDATE folder within and name the pup PS4UPDATE.PUP.

Hold power when turning on console and get second beeps to take you to recovery menu.

BTW: reinstalling SYS pup won’t delete anything and can fix OS issues. Installing REC pup formats your console, wiping everything.

Use the full size 9.00 recovery pup. You can also reinitalize the ps4 if you want

op, if you self-host, you will never have to go on to the internet. ftp will work, the cached version of your host will work as well, so you lose nothing keeping the system offline.

download the firmware from darthsternie's site. if you're upgrading or if something is majorly wrong with the hdd, choose initialize and reinstall the firmware in the recovery menu. that will format the drive, and the recovery pup will repopulate all the partitions (there's 14 or 15 of them).

export them with a flash drive. you can activate your account with apollo or save mounter. do so. you'll know it's activated if the name of your account is italicized.
