I feel kind of silly asking this, since it's something I used to do a few years ago, when making spoof titles to show up as my "latest software" in StreetPass Mii Plaza. But for whatever reason, my knowledge has lapsed and I'm having trouble figuring it out.
As the title says, I'd like to take a .cia file and change its icon(s) / short and long titles / publisher. Even if there isn't a tool to do exactly those things, perhaps someone could work out a go-to method for getting it done.
I am familiar with .cia en/decryption, converting PNGs to common 3DS image formats, HackingToolkit3/9DS, hex editors, and some forms of checksum calculation. Thanks for any guidance you folks could give!
