forget about a hard drive I think you could maybe manage with a 4tb.... and let's say the software could actually display all of these games.... what about those optical disk lasers those are usually the cause of a "bad Wii" ... lets just say in a frenetic situation

It shouldn't. You only have to copy the discs once and it'd be a straight read from one end to the other.
