So how long do you think it will take the R4 team to release a fix for Final Fantasy 4?

They've been pretty snappy with fixes for important games in the past, sooo.....

Within the next couple days. Their last fix was really fast, I think they'll keep adding updates that fast. Especially with a game as big as this one!

R4 usually bring major fixes pretty quickly. I expect an update before the week is over.

When they feel like it. >_> I don't really need a fix, since my friend bought it.

For now, just downgrade back to kernel 1.09 and it will run the game fine.

I might as well ask for the sake of others. Any verification of that? People say it doesn't.

Works on 1.09; personally, I don't think I'd want to downgrade my firmware JUST to play a remake.

    I agree.

I have FFVI Advance flashed to NOR on my 3 in 1, but haven't got around to playing it.
Maybe after I finish the annoying sidequests, Black Omen, and other crap on Chrono Trigger. [IMG]
I'll probably play it when Winter Break arrives.

That wasn't a non-working game. It was fully playable the whole time, you just needed the arm7 fix.

So, it looks like the 7 people who chose "before the end of the day" were correct.
