The guide says: ' 11. Hold L while launching rxTools to get into the rxTools menu'

Then: '12. Press DPAD RIGHT until you highlight ADVANCED OPTIONS, then press A'

I pressed DPAD RIGHT (right directional button), but i don't get ADVANCED OPTIONS.....

I read the 'Read-me' and all I have to do to update Rx 2.6 is: 'copy the rxTools directory (folder) to the root of the SD card. Also make sure that firmware.bin, is placed in rxTools/sys/' ?

Alright, just looking for some quick clarification, I tried to search but to no avail.

I'm trying to update my EmuNAND, not SysNAND, from 9.0.0U to 9.5.0U so I have the correct update package (105 .cias or so) in the updates folder, and used FBI to install sysupdater.cia to EmuNAND (SD). Runs fine, but there's a confusing line that says "Use the HOME button if you run the CIA version". I'm assuming that's exit and you just press (A) to update?

Edit: I'm using GW mode (not classic mode, just regular GW EmuNAND mode), since I'm not updating SysNAND but EmuNAND this should be fine, correct? Or do I need to switch to rxTools? Again I want to keep my SysNAND untouched.

I've deleted the my old rxtools folder and placed the new rxtools folder (from the nightly build) with the 'firmware.bin' in rxtools/sys, but I still get rxtools 2.6 when I boot it.

Sorry for the constant questions.

Okay, I entered Dev Mode, then the 3DS automatically went to sysnand.

Then I went to Health&Safety, but Fbi didn't start.

I'm following the guide, but why didn't Fbi start/boot ?

So, I need to enter rxtools again and choose fbi for sysnand ?
yes
