stupid Q, but whats the difference of moonshell 2 and AKAIO? i have acekard 2i for my DSi, and i wanna use as much of the 4 GB as i can lol. Moonshell 2 is for like.. videos and etc im guessing?

Moonshell 2 is indeed a multimedia-centric firmware thingy. I'm using AKAIO right now and it's certainly a good enough alternative to the official firmware.

ahh, okay thanks~

Actually, Moonshell 2 is a homebrew app that plays media files. It's NOT an actual firmware replacement and WONT boot commercial ROMs without something to make it do so.

hello im going to buy an EZ3in1 expansion pack.. and i was wondering what homebrew will make use of the RAM, also which browser is the best for speed (not hobro... dont want to install to comp) that has image display (so not linux...) i guess the choices left are Bunjalloo or the official opera browser, which is faster with my 3in1?? (or is there a third option?)

Sorry for my noobish question but...

I heard that there is a homebrew N64 emulator for DS. Could someone please give me the name of this,

thanks,

hey, is there/is there going to be an app that you can extract: .zip, .rar WinRAR Archive, .7zip files/folders directly from the ds.

someone should do a WinRAR_DS.

let me know if there is an app to open .zip and WinRAR Archive folders.

there is one for .zips, dont think it does anything else. It's called DSCompress.

yea but a WinRAR one would be great. considering no-one wants to pay for WinRAR after the trial runs out

any help to prolong winrar without paying?
pm me if you know.

WinRAR should work forever without the trial as long as you click "Remind Me Later" when it asks you to buy it. I hope that I have helped you, sir.

I can't get either DSHobro and Bunjaloo to work.

I had fail connections w/the first and "Failed" on the Data thing for Bunjaloo.

How can I view .txt files on NDS? I mean, independent text files in general. I have CycloDS Evolution.

What application do I need? Or am I forced to view it using in-game text viewer instead?

Moonshell or DSorganise

Yeah, I'm having problems with DSHobro and BeUp (the one with windows live) I can't seem to Log onto Wi-Fi...I got all the correct settings. And, there was a button for BeUp the "Use Firmware" button. What does that do? Many thanks to those who respond to my questions!

Are there any good programs for reading books on the DS? If so, can I find books to download online (that I already legally own)?

Also, why can't I see any contacts on BeUp whenever I'm log in? My avatar isn't there, and It's supposed to have support for that.

Edit: What is CrocoDS?
Beup does have avatar support, but for some reason every time you log in you'll have to reset your avatar and possibly your display name.
as to why you can't see any contacts, I would either assume that noone was online or you need to redownload Beup.
