Now a days, its mostly games that have online multiplayer.

Reason being(well my reasoning), is that you play people at different levels, some better and some worse... which makes you want to be better at the game.

For me, it's:

Mario Kart DS
Mario Hoops 3 on 3
Mario Party DS

They have been on my SD since the day I got my flashcart.

I blur in the deck

QUOTE(benjaminlibl @ Nov 14 2009, 09:29 PM) Jump Ultimate Stars gave me the most hours out of any game I've ever played. Probably because of the deck customization. I'm not going to say how long I played it, but I played it A LOT.

I blur in the deck

FFTA2.
I'm on my third playthrough.
With so many missions, and so many different ways to improve your party, it's never the same twice.

Puzzle Quest: CotW: Not my favorite game, but it's spent the most time on my card...and I've played it regularly the whole time -- two years and counting.

My friend and I play this almost everytime we see each other. It's fun to play one player mode also.

"Lasting appeal" is pretty ambiguous.
It could mean replay value, which those games obviously don't have, but it could also refer to the lasting impact that the story had on you. I don't think any of us could forget the stories told by those games.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
