Hardware Help with unscrewing stripped screws on the back of the New 3DS XL

When I went to go unscrew the screws on the back of the 3ds to get to the motherboard, most of the screws were stripped. (I was only able to unscrew 2 of the screws on the back of the 3ds) The 3ds that I own is used from gamestop, and I think the person that owned it before me must of screwed up the screws. If you got any tips or anything I can buy to fix this issue, it would be greatly appreciated! Also ask me if you want pictures.

Use a rubber band over the screw. Then use the next size up screwdriver. You'll get more grip and should work.

i've already tried the rubber band method and it didnt work. But i dont think i did it correct or it just doesnt work for me

Heat up screwdriver,put it in screw and hold it for few seconds,repeat if needed.it worked for me i could dissasembly my 2ds but this trick helped me

Apparently the UK store is more of a store than the NA store. The NA store is more of a parts and accessory store.

Didn't see replacement cover plates.

You would have to come to some agreement with someone from the NA area to buy one for you.

Superglue is your best bet, unless you want to use a dremel to destroy the casing to get the stripped screw out.

An easy fix I discovered is to put another small screwdriver lifting the bad screw, and then just rotate.
i.e:

Drill into the screws so that the heads fall off, remove the casing, and use pliers to remove the screws. Then, buy a new set of screws. They're like 5 bucks.
