A final fantasy 7 crisis core ISO has a lot of slowdown during the main menu and cutscenes.

That's your Memory Stick being crap, not the game.

Maverick Hunter X's gameplay is fine as CSO, but the FMVs have a shittastic framerate, pretty much unwatchable. Converting back to ISO it only gained like 47 megs for me, so I kept it as ISO, considering one of the main points was the half-hour FMV detailing the origins of sigma that's unlocked when you beat the main game as X.

There's multiple CSO compression levels, the one I got already as a CSO had gameplay fine, but the FMVs were shittastic. Since it was only like 47 megs more as an ISO, I didn't bother testing multiple compression levels so I'm not sure which the original person used.

If you ever plan on playing FF7:CC, keep in mind that converting it into a CSO will actually eliminate the slowdown

My FFVII:CC was a cso and would lag as stated, but when i made it to an ISO it worked fine..

Read that again....the intimation is that FMV stutters when played as an ISO, and my statement is that the issue there is the MS. and that compressing to a CSO to fix the issue is not going to work. You're just agreeing with me.
