Gaming [Help] Pokemon Black/White Battle in the Union Room?

Could someone give me instructions/tutorial on how to select BATTLE mode in the UNION room in Pokemon Black or White please? I've been trying mess with many options in the game (ex. C-Gear and going into the UNION room) to try and battle, but no dice on battling part... I'd appreciate if someone lend me a hand.

go in the union room then get one of the people to talk to u then click the 2nd option then you will have options. as far as i no the top option selects your battle style an its in this order
Single
Double
Triple
Rotational
