User submitted news get an upgrade
In addition to our Release Management Center which allows you to contribute by submitting game releases, we've decided to allow members to write front page news articles!

In order to submit a news article of your own, simply start a new topic in our User Submitted News forum, tick the box at the bottom of the form and wait for approval. And don't you worry about approval - news articles that do not get approved will still be under the spotlight thanks to The Teej's weekly user submitted news round-up! Please also note that in the future we'll put up a simplified news posting script that will allow (for both staff and regular members) to quickly report information and upload images & files to the Download Center.

this only works on the V3 skin so far but we're working on adapting it to other skins too!
just be patient

Well considering the news has to be approved then there wont be any useless news.

If you're lazy about formatting staff members will arrange the formatting it for you.
It'll take a little longer for your articles to get approved though.

The front page was always used for news about the scene, flashcards and the site.. should it continue this way? Or should we send the usual stuff that goes in the User Submitted News here too (news about game announcements, etc)?

With these new permissions, I suppose you could say you are all honorary magazine staff!

But seriously though, we've always been checking out the USN area (especially me), so keep on posting quality news. If you're really that good, you'll stand out, and we'll definitely take notice

Meh, I don't like it that much.
It needs to be easier to use and should babyfeed the GBAtemp Portal News format to the user writing the news.
