My question to the staff now is: What is the point of having people like FAST6191 doing their job anymore, now that we can do it?

Because they've proven themselves to know exactly what they're doing, plus, they don't have to get their stuff accepted before it goes on the front page. Relying on the users alone won't get stuff done.

So will these show up under GBAtemp & Scene News or a new section?

They'll go under te section they're supposed to go in, i.e. flash cart news will go in GBAtemp and scene news, homebrew news will go in Homebrew news. The only difference is the thread starter will be changed to the GBAtemp robot, to prevent said submitter editing the post [once it's on the front page] and putting something rule breaking like porn or whatever. The original submitter is given credit at the bottom, however.
