Hello Everyone i wanted to ask.
i am about to buy a 3ds xl and wanted to know if there is a flash cart or any way that will play 3ds roms on it , and what abilities will be lost if so meaning if the games could still be played online or not.

All DS games run. DSi games run as if they were in an original DS (so WEP wireless only, no camera, etc.)

So im writing here in order not to spam the forum with a new thread.What do you guys think should be the thingz to do after you buy a 3ds xl in updates , roms , flash carts ,what was you to do list with a new 3ds xl

no im asking in general, what would you guys do anyone after getting a new 3ds xl , what card would you buy , if there is any essential homebrew to try or any cool stuf to do ,just in general

There isn't really any cool homebrew stuff. The DSTwo has a GBA emulator, which is pretty cool.

Also get the new fire emblem it's amazing!

Thnx So basically after getting a flash cart that probably is gonna be a r4i gold because is the only one available in my part of the world my only option is to play ds games with it and hope that a flash cart that can play 3ds roms comes along

Unfortunately I'm 99% sure that 3DS ROMs will only be playable on completely new flash cards when 3DS is hacked.
Or it won't be on a flash card at all and we'll simply use exploits to run games from the SD card.
But we'll have to wait and see if and when that happens.

As for what to do with your 3DS XL: play some games
There are many great releases now (and coming this year), and there are also some nice games on the eShop.
And of course there is the great library of the DS, too!
If you want stuff recommended, I think there were some recommendation thread around this forum.

Does anyone know if roms from the flash cart can be played online, like if wanted to play mario cart online or pokemon trade.????
And also Is there any diference or is it possible to complete ocarina of time 3d or mario land 3d having the 3d disabled???

Yes flash carts can play games online.

Yes games can be played without the 3D.
