Hacking Hello new member and new to the CycloDS just one question

I have a question about something (it's not asking where to get roms or anything like that). Seeing how I have a lot of DS games, I don't feel like carrying them with me when I leave for school (hence why I bought the Cyclo to hold all my DS games). I don't/do not want to download roms (I try to stay legit in that matter), but I want the roms off my games so I have my saves with me. Is there a way to rip a DS game off the cart so you have your save files? If this is against the TOS sorry, oh yeah Cyclo all the way (seeing how I used to own a Datel Max Media Dock >_>).

Well, it's not technically illegal to download a rom for a game you already own, but if it bothers you then you could back-up your own rom if you have a working Wi-Fi connection.

I haven't tested these methods myself, but, well, there they are.

Rudolph's NDS Backup Tool (from the first link) works just fine for dumping ROMs from retail carts that you own. The "dump times" listed seem to be a bit on the high side - it took me only 20 minutes to dump a 32MB game.

It also does save files, too - no need to bother with the second link and using SavSender. You'll have to run the save file dump through this save converter before putting it onto your CycloDS, though.

Thanks for all the help and fast replies, and fyi it doesn't really bother me to download games I own. I just don't wanna have to re-do my saves all over again. Thanks again I'm going to read up on this then try it when my flash card comes in.
