Hacking Having trouble with GBA VC and rxtools

I'm on 9.2.0-20 U and I'm using ctrboot with rxTools_2015-12-05_08.48-a08cfdd. I was told to install the agb firm patch cia and I did it. I then installed GBA cias to both sysnand and emunand. They're working fine but now I'm having less success booting rxtools. It would boot everytime but now it boots like 3/10 times. Did I do something wrong?

O3DS or new? Because I am pretty sure agb_firm is broken as shit on the N3DS with rxtools 3.0

Just a thought, but it is possible that agb_firm is broken in general for rxtools 3.0 atm. I would try asking in the rxtools thread if anyone knows when the last time agb_firm worked for O3DS users was.
